Short Bio of Dr. Rafal A. Angryk: 

Rafal A. Angryk received his Ph.D. degree in 2004 from Tulane University, New Orleans. Simultaneously with this degree, Tulane awarded him with a degree of M.S. in Computer Science. Dr. Angryk also holds two other master's degrees, which he obtained from universities in Poland. In 1999, Dr. Angryk received a M.A. in Business Management from the University of Szczecin and three years later a M.Sc. degree in Computer Science from the Technical University of Szczecin.

Dr. Angryk is currently employed as an Assistant Professor in the Computer Science Department at Montana State University. Prior to arriving at MSU, he was involved for four years in the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) research project on Intelligent Database Agents for Geospatial Knowledge Integration and Management, administrated by the Center for Computational Sciences in the Stennis Space Center (NASA). Before that he was an instructor in the Institute of Computer Science at the University of Szczecin.

Dr. Angryk's current research interests lie in the areas of Data Mining, Databases (Spatial Databases, Fuzzy Database Models), Distributed Systems (Mobile Agents Technology, Distributed Databases), and Artificial Intelligence (Fuzzy Expert Systems, Neural Networks). His research has been sponsored by the NGA, NASA, NSF and Intergraph Corporation. In May 2006, Dr. Angryk has been given an Outstanding Researcher Award in Computer Science by the College of Engineering at Montana State University.
