Script Programmer
Description:
Improves, develops, maintains and documents the "generic scripts". These are programs and control files written in C shell, python, or other high-level languages. They are used by Technical Directors to specify batch renders and many other tasks. Distributes new versions of scripts to the Assistant Technical Directors on all productions; assists with and follows up on integration. Receives show-specific script changes from Assistant Technical Directors. Assists in integrating these changes into the generic scripts. Assists members of the Production Engineering group with other programming tasks as needed.
