May 2013

I was promoted to Full Professor and also received the Computer Science department’s researcher of the year award (shared with Clem Izurieta).  Looking forward to the start of the REU program in a few weeks.

August 2012

The REU program just finished.  Thanks to all of the participants, especially Kate McManus and Smareh Shahmohammadi who worked with me over the summer.

May 2012

I was fortunate to be awarded the College of Engineering’s Researcher of the Year award.

My incoming PhD student Sean Yaw was awarded a MSU Graduate School Presidential Scholarship.  Congratulations Sean!

Started my sabbatical at the Computer Science Department at the University of Arizona.  I am being graciously hosted by John Kececioglu.
