AUTHORS!

DynaLab can easily be turned into an ancillary for standard Pascal textbooks. All of the programs in a textbook (except those that don't lend themselves well to animation because of size of included data structures and similar problems) can be incorporated into a file and packaged with DynaLab, so that both faculty and students using your textbook can have instant access to an animated view of your programs. Additionally, many other programs can be included as well (many more than you would want to include in your actual textbook), programs that allow students to examine concepts from many different perspectives.

There are many potential uses of such an ancillary, and we are interested in working with authors on collaborative projects. The National Science Foundation has also made it clear that they would like to see projects such as DynaLab, which they have supported, to find their way into the commercial market. The details of such a collaborative venture would be worked out individually, but would in no case decrease revenues to the textbook author (indeed, sales should be enhanced with DynaLab as an ancillary).

As DynaLab evolves, more functionality is being added, making it more attractive as a teaching and learning tool. If you are an author of a relevant textbook and would like to learn more about the prospects of using DynaLab as an ancillary to your work, please contact us. We'd love to hear from you!
