We professors are a busy lot, but we try to do everything we can to meet with students. Most often, student questions can be answered most conveniently by e-mail. My e-mail address is ross@cs.montana.edu. If you need to see me in person and my office hours are not convenient for you, please e-mail me, call me at 994-4804 to set up an appointment, or set up an appointment through the departmental secretary, Jeannette.
If my office door is open, you are welcome to drop in. If my office door is closed and it is not time for one of my office hours, please do not knock. The door is closed because either I am not in, or I need to work on something without interruption.
Rest assured that I enjoy visiting with students, so if you want to see me in person, do not hesitate to set up an appointment or stop by during office hours or when the door is open.
