Finishing Your Project
Objectives
The objective of this laboratory is to give you opportunity to work on the final phase
of your project. Remember to ask the TA for help with any questions you might have.
Special Notes
Be sure to read the announcements today before beginning lab and continue to
read the announcements throughout the week for more information about the exam
and your projects.
As announced on the Announcements page, your project is not due in lab this
week. You have until
Monday, April 26 at midnight to submit your projects. The time stamp on
the submission will show when you turned the compiler in. It will be this
turned in version that will be used for your compliance testing. Be sure
to listen to any special instructions given by your TA for turning in your
project.
Be sure to read Project Milestone 14 for more
information on what needs to be submitted to complete your project.
Preparation
You will need a piece of paper with your team names, group number, and date at the
top as usual.
To Do
- On your paper, write down the level of compliance that you are targeting for your
compiler.
- If you haven't already done so, determine a time for a test of your project with the
TA and put that time on
the paper.
- Work on your project together.
- Determine some test sets for your project.
- Trade test sets with other groups. You can do this in the lab, and
you can also post a note to the class news group that you have test sets to
swap. Trading test sets with others is a nice way to get a larger number
of test cases in a short period of time
To Turn In
Turn in your sheet of paper that has your targeted level of compliance and the
date for your acceptance test.
Last 15 Minutes
Use the last 15 minutes of lab to fill out course evaluations. Go to
http://www.cs.montana.edu/survey/
to do this. You should find different entries for your instructor and
for your TAs.
