Source and Journal
Posted Wednesday, April 23
Due as noted below
Objectives
The objectives of this milestone are to have you wrap up your project by turning in
your final source listing and your journal. This is your last opportunity to provide
input on how well your group worked together.
Source Listing
- Print a copy of the source for your complete compiler. This is to be
done as a group effort (only one source listing will be turned in per team).
- Be sure the printing is dark and clear.
- Use a monospaced font (e.g. courier), size 10
- Be sure also to allow 1 inch margins all around.
- The first page of the report should be nothing but a title page giving your team
names, your team number, the date, your implementation language (C++, or Java) and
the level you attempted on the project (A, B, or C).
- The rest of the source listing should be organized in a fashion that makes
it easy to read. Tabs with labels for major sections are to be included
- Put the entire project in a binder (it doesn't have to be an expensive binder).
In the comments for the symbol table module, include a description of which
algorithm you are using for the symbol table (sequential search, binary search tree, hash table,
etc.).
This is your professional submission of your project, so it must be of
professional quality, and will be graded accordingly.
Journal
Follow the journal formatting and content instructions precisely:
Please note. Some of you received a lower than average grade on your last journals, because
you did not follow the simple directions regarding the format of the journal, the order of its
contents, and how it was to be packaged. Re-read the instructions to be sure that you
construct this journal properly.
To Turn In
Remember that your compiler must be submitted electronically by midnight Monday evening,
April 26.
Turn in your your journal next Thursday in lab..
Turn in your source listing at your demo time.
