Introduction and class logistics.  We will be meeting in room 348 with the exception that at times we will meet in the CS conference room instead.

Class textbook.  We looked through the table of contents of our book to see how the author perceives the study of computational complexity.  We also talked a little bit about the author, Chirsot Papadimitriou.

Class participation.  The class will be treated in many ways like a seminar course.  Each of us will at times be asked to present material to the class.  We will choose material from the textbook and other literature.
