For Lab 9 (Powerpoint) you only need to send the outlab to your assignment mail box- the 5 slides described in the assignmnet

I'm having some problems with Quiz 9 - it's still not up. You will be using Web CT for this quiz. Yes, the due date will slip too. Plan on it being due Next Friday (the 15th).

Answers to some questions about outlab 7:

There are 12 assignments worth 10 points each. You can break these up into inlab and outlab if you want, but it's not necessary. These are 40% of your grade.
There are 10 quizzes worth 10 points each. This is 20% of your grade.
The final test is worth 50 points and will be 20% of your grade (same as midterm)
Extra credit will be worth a total of 50 points and will add an additional 10% to your grade.
Museum - 20 points
Crossword - 10 points
quiz bonus questions - 10 points
evaluation - 10 points

A lot of people are starting to get behind. Make sure you stay caught up. Go to class and your lab so you can ask the questions you need.

If you are having problems logging into your ftp account dial extension 1777. They will reset your password

QUIZ 1 is ready

The due date for quiz 1 has been moved to February 4. You need a flash plugin to run the quiz. Most computers on campus should have it already. If you need it for your computer go to www.macromedia.com to get it. More will be explained in class on Tuesday if you are having problems.

You need to sign in with your student id and lab section.

The lab manuals are in the bookstore. They are different from previous years so be sure to get a new one. If the bookstore runs out, ask for more. They should have plenty.

You will need the lab manual for you lab next week.
