Programming assignments will be graded on a straight scale. Exams will be curved upwards (but never downwards) to ensure that the average is at least an 80%.
At the end of the semester, grades will be determined based on your class average as follows:
If you fall within one percentage point of the next grade higher, I will look at your grade on the final exam. If this grade justifies you being in the next higher category, I will give you the next higher grade.
