Assignment 8

One last assignment you are to do is a group assignment.  Along with your projects, we want to be able to post a nice tutorial on the instruction fetch and execute cycle of a generic processor and, in that context, describe in general terms what happens when a computer is first turned on up to the time that the operating system starts running "for real."  As usual we then want to discuss in specific how this happens on an Intel processor running Linux.
