Here are some books that are particularly interesting accounts of important battles of the Civil War.

Of particular interest this month is the Battle of Chancellorsville. It was a turning point in the Civil War in that it changed the perceptions of the Union population from the assumption that the war would be short and easy to a realization that it would be much more difficult.
