- Time: 1000 - 1300 on Mondays/Tuesdays/Wednesdays/Thursdays/Fridays.

Catalog Desciption
Students will learn enough about the Godot Game Engine and the
GDScript language to create a simple 2D game. Each Montana State
University student will partner
with a Berlin student to implement and
present the game.
Course Outcomes
By the end of this course, students will be be able to:
- Deploy a simple 2D game on the Godot Game Engine.
- Utilize GDScript to implement a 2D game on the Godot Game Engine.
- Research and present an advanced feature of the Godot Game
Engine or GDScript to the class.
- Work cross-culturally to implement and present the 2D game.
Grading
- Class Participation: 20%
- GDScript Tic-Tac-Toe Simulation Demo: 15%
- Dodge the Creep Demo: 15%
- Feature Presentation: 10%
- Course Project and Presentation: 40%

Have you ever wanted to create a simple 2-D game? If so, here is
your opportunity! A 3.5 week block course entitled
Game Creation with Godot Engine will
be offered at the Free University of Berlin from Monday, July 24th
through Wednesday, August 17th. The course will meet each weekday
from 1000 until 1300. 11 Montana State University students
are enrolled and the course is also open to Free
University of Berlin students. Students will work in cross-institutional
teams to create a game of their choosing. The course will be taught
in English by Montana State University Computer Science Professor John Paxton.
To enroll, a student should have at least two semesters of
