KompoZer Background

KompoZer Installation
- Download version 0.7.10 of KompoZer for your platform (Windows, Mac, Linux) and save the downloaded version onto your desktop.
- Right click on the downloaded version and extract the files. I chose to extract the files to C:\Program Files.
- Delete the original file that you downloaded. It is no longer needed.
- For convenience, navigate to C:\Program Files\KompoZer 0.7.10 and create a shortcut for the KompoZer program. Move this shortcut to your desktop.
- Run KompoZer by clicking the shortcut on your desktop.

Class Exercise
- Create a web page that contains a picture of the flag of Sweden. Place this flag at the top of the page and label it as Original Flag.
- Replicate the flag as closely as possible using tables. Place this flag at the bottom of the page and label it as Duplicated Flag.
Helpful Hints
- The height and width of the original flag can be determined in KompoZer.
- The colors can be matched using Window's paint program or a color picker such as Pixie (PC) or Color Picker (Mac).
- Exact coordinates can be found using Window's paint program or Photoshop.
