Installing the Java Runtime Plug-in

Click Start

Select Run

Type D:j2re-1_4_0_01-windows-i586 into the Run dialog

Click the OK button

Follow the instructions generated by the install program

Alternatively, you can locate your CD drive via Windows Explorer and then double click the plug-in executable shown above to initiate the installation.

The example shown below assumes that your CD drive is the D drive. Adjust the drive letter as appropriate for your computer.
