Loading the Table of Contents into your browser

There are several methods that can be used to load the Table of Contents page. The examples given below assume that you wish to load the course web pages from the distribution CD. It may be desirable to copy the CD contents to your C drive to allow faster access to the web pages.
Browser Examples:
Netscape 4.79 | Internet Explorer
If your browser is Netscape 4.79, follow these steps load the Table of Contents from the CD:
Select the File menu
Choose Open Page...
Type D:/Bioremediation/Bioremediation.htm in the Open Page Dialog (assuming D is the drive letter associated with your CD drive ... adjust the drive letter as needed). Alternatively, you may click the Choose File button, and then select this file by locating it on your CD drive.
Click the Open button
The Table of Contents page will be loaded into Netscape

If your browser is Internet Explorer, follow these steps load the Table of Contents from the CD:
Select the File menu
Choose Open...
Type D:/Bioremediation/Bioremediation.htm in the Open Dialog (assuming D is the drive letter associated with your CD drive ... adjust the drive letter as needed). Alternatively, you may click the Browse button, and then select this file by locating it on your CD drive.
Click the OK button
The Table of Contents page will be loaded into Internet Explorer
