Issues with the Example builder and applet.

1.  The applet comes up with the slider bar all the way to the bottom on long explanation
    steps.

2.  The applet will not automatically start with the first explanation, which it should,
    at least for the example I built for (1 | 0)*(101 | 110)(1 | 0)* with only one
    explanation.
