The midterm will cover material from sections 1.1 - 4.1 (except 1.6, 2.6, 2.7).
There will be at least one proof question.
There will be at least one logic problem (like Knights/Knaves).

You may bring a 1 page (double-sided) cheat sheet, if you like.

  • set operations
  • set properties
  • logic circuits
  • Karnaugh maps
  • functions and relations

I would recommend reviewing the end of each chapter and reading the summary notes.  If you don't understand anything, reread that section and/or see me for an explanation.

Tuesday's class will be a review session.  Please bring any problems you would like me to do during the review.

I will be out of town Wed and Thursday (Will is going to proctor the exam).
I will have additional office hours on Monday (Oct. 9), 2pm - 4pm.
