What is in it for you?
The answer to this question is, “What is not in store for you?” LogicBoard Adaptive Camps are creating an event unlike anything the adaptive snow community has ever seen. Seeing as though each camper has a unique disability, their training will be equally as personal. If you are a hot-shot rider/skier who can already throw down a Frontside-Jinga-Junxta-Rodeo-Gimpstar-1080-Ninjaury, we will place you with a coach who can show you how to tweak it out a little more. Or if you are a d
ecent carver who is contemplating a flat-down-box for the first time, we will teach you the method to spank it like a newborn baby. Our goal is to up your level of riding to a higher standard and to make your freestyle experience a positive one.
What's new this session?
We figured that your skis just keep getting shorter and fatter, so why not have you come and shred with us? As with our shredders, this training will be specialized with an intimate 1- to 5-coach-to-camper ratio. Coaching will be provided by one of the industry’s top freestyle pro skiers. About ten years ago, the industry told us that we were crazy for introducing freestyle skiing into this camp. Since this time, freestyle skiing has become a significant part of the LogicBoard Camp program and has spawned innovation in the sport. Also, your attendance to this camp will open up the door to adaptive freestyle and
Skiercross competition that is now offered by the Adaptive Division of the United States of America Snowboard Association.
What else should you know?
Because this session is designed for intermediate to advanced adaptive riders and skiers, we will not be providing training for those who are just learning to ride. Adaptive snowboarders and skiers attending this session must already have enough skill to carve their snowboard and ski down the hill in a safe controlled manner. There is no age limit on this session and we will cater to all and only permanent physical disabilities. Oh yeah, there is a six-inch powder clause too - if it snows, we will refocus our attention on the mother-lovin pow-pow and lessons will have to wait!Overnight Camps
