This week, come see local guest speaker Ed Adams Sat. May 1!
Adams, originally an MSU English graduate, decided
to
take up back-country skiing one year. Little did
he know the huge
impact it would have on his life. Soon after, he went back to school
to research the amazing
art of the avalanche. He now works as an
Associate Professor in Civil Engineering and Snow Science at Montana
State University. Ed's avalanche work has gone on to be featured in
National Geographic, People, and
on a
History Channel program "Nature Tech". Come listen to Ed Adams
speak of his intriguing career while sharing one-of-a-kind photos of
recent avalanches.
