How to Design for A Client
The most crucial part of web design is designing for a client.    Each step created in the design process revolves around the ideal of meeting a client's needs. The first and most important step in designing is to create a strategy with the client.  Meet with and find out what the client wants and how you think you will start to achieve those goals.  After this you typically follow the next several steps of the design process.  With developments and refinements, designing for a client eventually becomes a success by the time the web site is manufactured and launched.
