Appraisal
Appraisal

There are several options for the collector looking for a good source in appraising antique buttons. A good place to start your research is your local library or online on hobbyist, collectors, and online auction websites. Another great option is to seek the opinion of a private appraiser. Private appraisers, while expensive, often times possess a wealth of knowledge and expertise in specific antique time periods, yielding more accurate results. Finally, socializing with other button collectors
at antique shows or button conventions
are great ways to pool the resources of your peers when you need a wider view
of the world of buttons.
