Designing for a Client
Professional Design
Designing web sites is unique to each client and each project. There is a specific process that we use that helps simplify the design process. The creative brief. This allows us to reduce complications later, and follow the same process for each design project. Professional design provides unique challenges on each project.

These five parts of a creative brief are the five that we deem most important. Creative briefs can be(and often are) more complex, but this is a simple overview.
A very brief overview of the entire project. If everyone is on the same page, so to speak, most complications can be avoided.
A clear definition of who is needed to meet specified goals. The client, the designer, and all other parties required to solve the problem.
Who is the primary audience for this site and how can we design for this
audience specifically. This is an important question to answer.
The goals that need to be defined and met to solve the problem. This list can be referred back to at if questions arise as to the effectiveness of certain design features.
Project deadline. There may be many if it is a large project. It is very important that all involved parties agree on deadlines, and that all parties are kept up to date if deadlines need to be changed.

Creative briefs bring group members to the table and
leads to effective team communication.
